This is definitely a quintessential visit in the fall when driving up to Ellijay or Blue Ridge. The prices on the pumpkins that we bought in late September were outstanding and I would highly recommend going back to purchase huge pumpkins for five dollars each. I do want to make a special note. Almost every product inside the store is not made by this company. If you look on the back of every label, it says these products were made for panorama orchards. These are just products. They are buying from another company and putting on their shelves, which is really disheartening. I would rather spend two or three dollars more per item if I knew it was from the community cooked by locals and was employing people around the area. Just kind of burst my bubble from the whole experience. The ice cream prices are outstanding and definitely a huge deal. I’m not mad about the labels. I just wish it was a little more authentic.
Panorama is always a good go-to for apples in Gilmer County. They have a great retail store that sells everything apple related products. Try the fried pies and free samples. Love this place!
🍎 A Sweet Stop at Panorama Orchard Sometimes the best travel moments come from spontaneous detours — and today’s was all about apples. We’d been hearing all the chatter about “apple season” in this area, so curiosity (and the smell of cinnamon in the air) led us straight to Panorama Orchard. Let me just say — this place is apple heaven. From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by baskets of fresh-picked varieties, warm baked aromas, and the sound of happy munching everywhere. If you go (and trust me, you should), try the fried pies first — flaky, golden perfection with a sweet apple filling that tastes like fall itself. The apple fritters? Light, crisp, and dangerously good. And don’t skip the baked bread — it’s the kind of treat that makes you want to grab a second loaf “for later” (you won’t regret it). A short stop turned into a full-blown tasting adventure — and now I totally get the hype. 🍏✨
I went to Panorama for the first time with my son and it was an amazing place. Their ice cream was so smooth and so creamy. We had the apple fried pie and were blown away. We purchased their coconut bread and the lemon Blueberry bread and cannot wait to go back and purchase more. The staff was so nice and I cannot say enough about this place. Well worth the trip and look forward to the next time
I started seeing posts for Panorama, Orchards and Farm Market and I was intrigued! So this morning, I decided to come up and see what all the hype is about… I am so glad that I did. This is like a fresh fruit, fresh baked food fresh vegetable, fresh everything store that you could seriously lose yourself in for an hour. Everything here is simple and to the point… Even the way things are separated and categorized make it a pleasure to shop. They let you sample the different peaches and will tell you the history of the place if you ask. “A sidenote to any entrepreneurs out there , the places for sale“ I can’t tell you how anxious I am to get home and dive into these peaches and blueberry loaf… I also picked up two jars of local honey for some friends and a small bag of soft peppermint sticks for myself… Of course! It is a bit of a hike to get up here from Atlanta, but it is worth the trip and the experience.
