I love this little gem!!! We’ve been here twice and my daughter LOVES it. She loves the animals and the owner is kind enough to let us linger around for as long as we want so she can enjoy her time with them. The first time we went we picked Zinnias, our second time we picked sunflowers and enjoyed an apple! We will definitely be back and plan to bring friends next time.

Aaron Family Orchards. Mack and Jack Aaron inherited their father's farm. They decided to split the farm into two parcels each owing their respective section. Mack's is just down the road and this is Jack's store that his grandson now operates. I believe this place open in the 40s. The store has beautifully red oak flooring that was repurposed from an old house. At some point this beautiful rea oak flooring was covered over with plywood, but the grandson later removed the plywood and refinished the floors. The flooring alone is worth stopping here for a visit. They do have a nice selection of apples and other produce to choose from. We took advantage of some boiled peanuts the day we were there. They use the jumbo peanuts. Highly recommend stopping here to check out this store.

Great family owned business. I felt welcomed before they greeted us. I saw freshly homemade caramel rolled out. After that, I was instructed to fill my bag to get my money's worth. (Noteworthy, apple orchards sell by fractions of a peck to a bushel. So being told if the bag will tie shut, there is no quantity or pound limit was heartwarming.) They accurately described the taste and texture of cultivars I wasn't familiar with. Then there is a small display near the register with apple fritters inside. The fritters looked good and the scent was crazy amazing. The fritter I had almost covered a standard paper plate. It provided me with 5 servings. Their apple fritters are perfection. The caramelized sugar on the peaks and edges were decadent. If you want apples and experience hospitality from the old days, visit Aaron Family Orchards.

We had a great time here! We bought apple cider and apple donuts, both absolutely delicious! The owner even let us sample some apple fritters he’d just made. If you get a chance, buy some!! He was so kind and also let the kids go out back and feed the goats and pigs. I highly recommend this cute little place with a friendly owner and delicious food!

The corn relish is amazing. Stopped here on a family trip and fell in love with the whole farm. Everything tastes amazing, the family are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Apples were fresh in the box and they even have some friendly animals outback. Seriously addicted to the corn relish.
