North Haven Gardens - Dallas TX

North Haven Gardens in Dallas is the best garden center in the city. Their selection of native plants, pollinator‑friendly flowers, herbs, vegetables, and organic gardening supplies is great. Everything is healthy, beautifully organized, and clearly labeled, which makes shopping actually enjoyable. You can tell they take real pride in the quality of their plants. I also love that North Haven offers classes, workshops, and tons of helpful guidance — it’s the kind of place where you walk in with questions and walk out feeling confident and inspired. If you’re looking for a Dallas garden center that truly cares about its customers and the community, this is the one.

Had a great time looking at all the beautiful plants and found a perfect addition to my balcony garden! A bright red hibiscus shrub. Thank you to The Dallas Area Garden Club for having your first meeting here today. I’m so glad I stopped by. Appreciate the coffee too! Coffee and plants. It’s a vibe! Got to meet some really great people and learn about the history of the place. A very elegant remodel after a tornado. Growth can happen after a storm and this place is a great example of that. If you haven’t checked it out, please do so. You won’t be disappointed!

First time coming here and let me tell you. I will most definitely be back. For me it was breathtaking 🥰 if you are a plant person of any kind. Plus they have educational classes for the kids. Also information about what you are buying and how to care for it. Must I go on, they have a nice coffee cafe with a sitting area outside to enjoy. I could go on and on it's a must go to spot if you are a plant person.

I didn’t end up finding exactly what I was looking for, and it was surprisingly difficult to get assistance. Several team members seemed more engaged in discussing their weekly schedules than helping customers on the floor. That said, North Haven Gardens is still a pleasant place to visit overall. There’s plenty of parking, which is a plus, though the lack of public restrooms was inconvenient, especially after handling plants and soil. On a brighter note, I really enjoyed the calm, instrumental music playing in the greenhouse, which added a relaxing touch to the experience.

Oh my gourd! After following on socials I was able to visit. What an amazing staff. So kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I live in an apartment so the right plants are key. I was completely taken aback by the size of this garden. I absolutely was thrilled how each plant had signage that told you how to properly care for it. Cannot wait to come back, in spring, when they are going to teach me how to grow tulips indoors. This was a beyond amazing experience. I wish all garden centers/nurseries were like North Haven.
