Spent the day with my sister at Jaemore and it did not disappoint! We did the 17$ wristbands and were able to do a cornmaze, hayride, and shoot the apple cannon! There were other activities but they were more suitable for young children. I highly recommend coming by especially if you have small kids. We also tried the apple mini donuts which were very yummy! Great experience overall!
Tldr: Pricey and low quality produce. Disappointed! Waste of time and money. Market - We purchased two different varieties of peaches. Within just a few days, both had developed mold. We only had a chance to eat a couple. The boiled peanuts were super salty & nothing special. Pies - They were so bad! We got 3 different flavors and their pie crusts were so dry and tasted awful. I spit it out after the first bite and threw the rest away. The restaurant- Food was tasty. However, their online menu states that a sandwich combo includes a side and a drink, but when we ordered, we were told the drink was an additional $2.99. Credit card fees - They charge customers a credit card fee, which is fine but I feel like they purposely made the sign so small so people don’t pay attention to it. We always catch this in other places, but here it was way too easy to miss. The cashier did not warn us either.
Their pies are HORRIBLE - 0/10.. my pie was filled with old slimy peaches/ sweet potatoes. I got 2 to try and would not recommend. I purchased stuff from their produce side and it wasn’t worth it. I’m hoping that the jam I got is good. The best part was the games & flower picking. Staff was okay. Wouldn’t be back though.
WOW ! Just amazing ! Unbelievable! So much to see & purchase ! One thing I bought was a bog of the Ever Crisp Apples ! Yummy ! Crisp, juicy & sweet ! I got the Apple Donuts & Chow Chow, as well as jams & jellies ! Our church group of 10 went from the Anderson & Starr, SC areas, about 70 miles away & we will return !
