There a lot to see and do here. Selections of apples that we have never heard of were available. The staff will be glad to let you sample a slice before you buy a basket. All sorts of preserves and jams as well. Again, some that I've never heard of. Too many selections! If you have a sweet tooth check out their bakery, perhaps go for a peach or apple fried pie like I did. Warning, one fried pie is enough to share. Plenty of parking. Easy to find. While you are there be sure to get your Farm Passport book stamped. If you don't know about this program be sure to ask the staff for a book.
Low key orchard. Away from the crowds. Great apples & tomatoes. Just about any kind of jelly, jam or honey you could hope for. Corn maze, hay rides and feed the goats too. Perfect on a fall afternoon.
We loved our experience. They are open for U-pick apples during the week. The orchard was accessible for my daughter who uses a walker. I recommend it for anyone who needs stroller or wheelchair accessible experiences. The orchard was well maintained, flat and easy to navigate.
Hillside orchard is a beautiful place nestled in the mountains of northern Georgia close to Talluah falls state park. The farm used to make sorghum molasses in the old days. That also have a gemstone mining area for kids. They are vet kid friendly and handicap and wheelchair accessible. They have lots of jellies, syrups, candies, and bakery goods. They have restrooms available and have handicap parking along with plenty of regular parking. We ate a sweet potato fritter. It was very yummy! This is one of the farms on the Farm Bureau farmers market tour. You get a passport and have them stamp it to get different prizes. We have visited 10 farms so far. This farm is in the Blue Ridge Mountains region.
Stumbled upon this quant apple orchard just south of Clayton,GA while on our way to Clayton, GA for a foxfire festival. We were going to look for one anyway on our way back home but this was a very nice surprise. The staff was very polite and social in pointing out their great deals on which bag to fill up with a variety of apples of your choice, plus finding the apple butter and other varieties of goodies. Recommend, if you're ever in the area, to stop & be delighted with all the delicious goodness!🍎🍎👍
