As someone locally known as “the lady with the big garden,” I’m always encouraging people to plant more perennials and food-bearing plants that will return year after year. One thing I constantly remind new gardeners is that gardening is often a numbers game. You should plant more than you think you need, experiment, and let nature surprise you. That’s exactly why TN Nursery has become my go-to source for affordable bulk plants and trees. My most recent order included 16 apple trees across 5 different varieties to expand my backyard permagarden, and over a year later every single one is thriving. The trees arrived quickly, healthy, and ready to grow. I’ve ordered from other nurseries before that claimed plants were hardy to Zone 5, only to watch them die over winter. I have not had that experience with TN Nursery. Their prices make larger-scale planting actually accessible, which I deeply appreciate as someone building a productive and ecological garden space. Between the fast shipping, healthy plants, and consistently great deals, I’ve happily recommended TN Nursery to friends, family, and fellow gardeners many times already. (I've been ordering from here for years!) If you’re looking to build an orchard, food forest, pollinator garden, or simply add more resilient perennials to your landscape without spending a fortune, I absolutely recommend TN Nursery.

UPDATE April 2026: THIS is how you do gardening. Don't look anywhere else! I bought 1 fuji apple and 1 elberta peach tree. With the BOGO free, I ended up receiving 3 each. Now, I learned from my mistake which somehow killed one of the 6 red maple trees last time, I was more careful. All 3 apple plus 3 peach trees survive. The apples are flowering even. I added some new photos so you guys can see. You are AWESOME, TN NURSERY!!!! ... LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE TN Nursery!!!! First time owning a single home with a decent yard and zero gardening experience, I did some digging for affordable maple trees. Wanted to have some fall foliage you know. Being a cheap skate myself, I don't want to spend more than $100 on a tree sold at Green Acres. One simple Google search brought me here. The price is too good to be true, so I looked up reviews. Google reviews seem decent, while some Redditors called TN Nursery "scam". I know I know... My ignorant self. Anyway, I decided to give it a try. There was a BOGO free promotion, so I bought two, expecting to receive 4, and hoping 2 will eventually survive. To my surprise, TN sent me 6, 4 big and 2 smaller trees. I ordered in October and they shipped after 3 weeks. Again, being a genius myself, didn't even look up instructions, I straight up digged some shallow holes, didn't even bother to make sure all roots are covered. The trees hibernated through the winter, and as spring came, they started budding one by one, except for one, which I am sure died because of my ignorance. So I paid for half the price of one maple tree at Green Acres, and get 5 THRIVING trees. I placed another order last week. Hopefully they will yield the same results!!!!!!

When my order first arrived, I was missing some of the ferns I had ordered. However, after contacting customer service, they responded and sent a replacement shipment, which I really appreciated. A few plants didn’t survive shipping or haven’t shown growth yet, but overall I would estimate that around 90% of the plants I ordered made the trip and are establishing well. The attached photos show the plants after planting and about a month of growth. One thing I’d mention for future buyers is to be patient — many of the plants arrived dormant, bare root, or very small, which can look concerning at first if you’re used to buying established nursery plants. Some took time before showing new growth. At this point, I’m happy with the outcome overall and appreciate that customer service made things right when there was an issue. The photos include Hydrangeas, Bluebells, Two Ginkgo trees, Lilac’s, Lilly of the valley, Blazing stars and a variety of ferns.

I have been buying several plants through this company in 2026. I love the selection. The plants are properly packed and labeled. Everything is growing great and I will be making more purchases!
