Thompson Farm (Pick-Your-Own Strawberries) - Bristol WI

We had a great time picking strawberries here! Good prices, especially on a weekday. We had a variety of kids ages and everyone enjoyed the experience.

It was an ok experience. Came here with friends to pick strawberries, but we spent like an hour and a half in the field and our baskets were only half full because so many strawberries were mushy (most likely due to the excess rain in the previous weeks). Half the time I picked a berry, it was rotting and I had to chuck it, so that ate up a lot of time with less results. Bummer that we had to pay $12 to park and a flat $18 fee per basket when the season wasn't peak. Luckily they let you combine baskets and payment is due at the end. Staff was friendly and informative. If it was cost-effective, I'd do it again, but not worth the price tag and all the work it took to find good ones.
