Easy to order, cute décor, quick service. The hot food was hot, the strawberry cornbread with apple butter was delicious. My husband tried an apple cider flight and they were very good. Overall, a great experience and we'll definitely be back there and bring some friends.
Erica and I recently got married at Apple Holler, and it could not have gone better! Elyse was great to work with, and very responsive to our questions and concerns, and even checked in with us regularly in the weeks before our big day! We were lucky enough to be the first couple to use Apple Holler’s newly-built wedding barn for our reception! It is such a beautiful space, and it looks out over the peach trees. The ceremony site is gorgeous, nestled in an oak grove out in the middle of the orchard. Our guests were delighted as they were transported out there, through the “enchanted forest” via a tractor train. Erica and her bridesmaids loved arriving at the wedding site in a horse-drawn wagon— just another perk of the Apple Holler wedding experience! Our guests also loved exploring the farm park, and many of them said that Apple Holler provided the best wedding food they’d ever had. We agreed! Thank you to Elyse and the rest of the staff for making our special day that much more special!
Came here with my partner a few months back to try apple picking for the first time coming from Chicago. We got there around noon on a Saturday and the place was busy but they had plenty of parking along the road in addition to the full lot. The price to entry is pretty fair, and you choose a size to how big of a bag you want for collecting. Once in, this place is huge. They have plenty of food/drinks, apple picking, a petting zoo area, a corn maze and lots of other kid friendly activities. We were there for the apple picking and it was such a great time! They give you a map with all the in-season varieties and where you can find them in the orchard. There is also shuttle rides that drive you around the orchard and drop off at some points if you want to minimize walking since its a large field. Even though the place was crowded, the orchards had plenty of room to walk around and pick apples with your group. There are sooo many apples and it is overwhelming at first all the different kinds. The great part is you can try the them before deciding if you want to take them. Make sure to come hungry, we ate a ton of apples. After picking, we went to the cider house and got a cold cider. They were delicious and refreshing! It was a lovely evening and i’d recommend it for anyone looking to go apple picking!
Sadly, this place has gotten smaller and service has changed. The dining room really is just the porch area. You now order at the counter and they bring you your food, like Culver's. Unfortunately in today's economy restaurants are having to cut back or close so I understand why. Great cider and the kid's cheeseburger were delicious as were the sides, especially the cheesy hash brown casserole. I'll be back.
The food is delicious with a good selection. There is a breakfast and lunch menu. The prices are reasonable. Food is prepared fairly quickly did not have to wait long.
