We had a great time strawberry picking. Very easy to find, good signage. Scanned our code from online ticket purchase and drove right in. Parked right next to the berry field and grabbed a basket to start picking. despite a tough growing season and already 2 weeks of picking, we shouldn’t have been worried. We found tons of berries and they’re delicious. Definitely recommend. Next year we’ll have to check out the festival as well.
The entrance is about 1/2 a mile off the highway, then you backtrack on a gravel frontage road. If your vehicle has little clearance or expensive paint, have someone else drive! It's rutted and bumpy. At then end of the road is a small building that charges admission, provides baskets, etc. I went on a Weds. afternoon and there were more employees than customers. The weekends are when they have their events and it's packed. I just wanted to pick fresh Raspberries so was happy with no people in sight. One container was $16 and you pick and fill it yourself. By the time it was full it was a leisurely 3/4 mile stroll (I checked my fitness tracker) and about 45 minutes. You may want to bring a lightweight glove because Raspberries are thorny. $16 sounds expensive, but when I got home I measured it against the typical store-bought container. What I picked filled the store's container 8. The only downside is it's a LOT of raspberries! I see a lot of smoothies in my near future. I'm sad I missed strawberry season, and I plan on returning a few times throughout the year.
The place is so pretty. I went in the evening around 5pm so the weather was more than pleasant . The farm closes at 6pm . For me an hour was enough . We picked a basket full of strawberries costing $18 which is quite reasonable . Strawberries were tasty and fresh . I loved it .
PERFECT DAY!! I brought my kids here during the week and purchased my tickets online, which was beyond reasonable. As a single parent I need to look for what we can afford and there aren't many places out there, so I was greatful they had lower prices during the week. We spent 5 hrs there enjoying everything and picking berries and pumpkins! This was enjoyed by an 8yr old and 2 teens and we all had a blast. Go during the week for $ saving options,, you wont be disappointed! Thank you for this family friendly place and keeping it affordable!
Beautiful farm! The sunflowers were at their peak and stunning. The entrance fee is affordable, and the cup they give you fits so many flowers. Totally worth the drive!
