LOVE the fairy garden selection they have here. There is a large display inside.. with lots of options and ideas. This year got granddaughter a starter kit. And then we went shopping at Terra to choose plants to go with the fair pieces. Got a container and dirt, and went to town! I know she will rearrange the pieces once the plants start growing..and that is the fun in rearranging it! Terra keeps the young at heart in mind with the assortment of fairy plants. Can use so.much of what they offer. We had a delightful time choosing from succulents, herbs, small fairy plants, and adding color and uniqueness. Love their rewards program too. Great place to shop. They have lovely garden options and gorgeous flower pot arrangements along with bushes trees annuals and perennials. It's an enjoyable place to shop... And not so big u get lost in it.
I purchased a plant from Terra Garden Center for my mom as a Mother’s Day gift. My mom has a true green thumb and takes excellent care of her plants, so we were very surprised when this one declined so quickly and is now completely dead. When I called Terra, I was disappointed to learn that they do not offer any warranty or replacement policy on their plants. While they did offer to look at the plant and potentially provide advice on how to save it, they stated they would not replace it. I understand that plants can be unpredictable, but when a plant fails so soon after purchase, I would have hoped for a stronger customer service response. I wanted to share my experience so other customers are aware of the store’s policy before making a purchase. I doubt I will ever purchase a plant from here again.
Every spring/summer, I purchase from this privately owned local garden center. Their plants are exceptionally healthy, well-labeled, and organized. They care not only for beautiful greenery and flowers, but that everything has a healthy root system. The employees are knowledgeable and helpful. Actually, I feel like they have become friends. It is also much appreciated that they have ample staff to take calls, carry items to the car, and answer questions about how to care for something. I’ve bought several rose bushes and other shrubs over the years. When it comes to annuals and perennials, they often carry the top brands as well as the same item from their own growers. Both have been an excellent source for me. Some of my favorites are foxgloves, phlox, succulents, and of course, hanging annual baskets. The selection is fantastic! I also purchase bulbs and tubers, as well as winter spruce pots. I’ve consistently had a high success rate with their plants. They not only survive, but they are lush and bloom profusely. There is a good selection of pots, water fountains, fertilizers, garden supports, planters, bird feeders, garden art, soil amenders, mulches, and fairy garden decorations. Over the years, I’ve found many unique gift items for my gardening friends. There are public restrooms—you may have to ask to find them. I’ve always found parking easy; they have a nice big lot. The aisles are wide, and the entrances are at ground level. I think it would be no problem for wheelchairs and strollers—except that it may be challenging to pass over water hoses, etc.
This is a beautiful little greenhouse garden center, friendly staff, has some things you can't find a big box stores, prices aren't outrageous. BUT BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR PLANTS CLOSELY!! Just brought home 2 with mealy bugs. I hope I caught them before they spread to my other houseplants. They're a pain to get rid of.
This is one of my favorite local green houses. Their plants are healthy and beautiful and pretty well organized. The employees are helpful. There is a public restroom. There are also plenty of pots, planters, bird feeders, garden art and fairy garden decorations. If your in or near the Lakeville area and need to fo to a garden center check Tarra Garden Center out.
