I visited the Applewood Orchard twice last fall and had a great time both times. I really like the chill atmosphere with several lanes for each type of apple, never felt crowded or busy. They have a great selection of different types of apples and pastries available. Both times I went, I got suckered into purchasing some baked goods by the check out line and I’m glad I did since they’re so good. There is enough parking to get by, but some parked on the side of the dirt road which you must take to get to the orchard. The folks working there are also very kind and helpful and there is some other cool stuff to do such as a hay ride or corn maze. Overall, Applewood Orchard is a very nice apple orchard and worth the ride from the Twin Cities area.
This is such a great place! We loved walking amongst the apple trees, bought so many different types, and the pumpkins are awesome too! All of the products in the store are amazing, especially the apple crisp!! We plan to visit again when we are in town. ❤️
There were so many varieties of apples and the trees were loaded! The staff was also friendly! Will be back next year!
By far the best apple orchard around. A huge selection of different kinds of apple and all of the trees had an abundance of great looking apples. Didn’t see any bugs all and the apples were perfect. This is a very well taken care of orchard. The staff I did encounter were super helpful and friendly. Highly recommended. Had a great time here.
Loved this little orchard! Tons of variety and trees everyone was extremely friendly from the employees, tractor etc. it’s free admission including the tractor ride, corn pit, $2 for the litttle John Deere, free hedge maze. During our visit $7 fresh hot apple cider donuts, pie with ice cream, walking taco and hotdogs and sloppy joe for lunch and even a local food truck. Everything was fairly priced. We’ll be back again this season and I’ll tell everyone to visit!
