BEWARE!! I purchased over $500 worth of outdoor plants, including perennials and annuals, from Tagawa Gardens. Every. Single. Plant. was infested with thrips!!!! I contacted Tagawa immediately after noticing the issue, and the solution offered was to buy Captain Jack’s Bug Brew… which was also significantly marked up compared to other retailers. Unfortunately, it did nothing to solve the problem. I removed and disposed of the plants within days, and TWO YEARS later I am still battling a thrips infestation that spread throughout my entire garden. This has turned into an ongoing nightmare for my landscaping and other healthy plants. I’ve tried everything from sprays and beneficial nematodes to removing mulch and soil, and nothing has fully resolved it. This has been an expensive and upsetting experience. Frustrated does not even begin to explain how I feel. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE!

Nice place if you want to get Christmas/Holiday themed stuff. Trees, decorations, they got it all. Many different trees ranging from 1-20ft but they are very expensive. $150 dollars for one that is only 6-7ft tall. Luckily, you get 20% off each purchase. They also have events like meeting Santa which is nice for kids and fun if you are nearby. The atmosphere is nice inside and staff were kind.

Some places sell plants. Tagawa Gardens cultivates people. I walked in expecting to learn about flowers and container gardening, but I left with something far more meaningful—a renewed appreciation for how simple acts of kindness can brighten someone’s day. Lindsay, I don’t know if you realize how much your gesture meant to me. Gifting me the jasmine flower wasn’t just a gift of a plant; it was a gift of thoughtfulness and humanity. It was unexpected, generous, and deeply touching. I’ll remember that moment every time I smell jasmine. Chris was equally remarkable. You can always tell when someone truly loves what they do, and his passion for flowers shines through every explanation. He didn’t just share information—he shared stories, context, and excitement that made every plant feel alive. I walked away knowing more than I expected and appreciating nature in a way I hadn’t before. And to Lu and Becky: thank you for an outstanding container gardening class and presentation. You made the subject approachable, engaging, and genuinely fun, and the tour afterward tied everything together beautifully. It never felt like a lecture; it felt like being welcomed into a community that wanted everyone to succeed. What impressed me most about Tagawa Gardens wasn’t the incredible selection of plants or the beautiful grounds—although both are exceptional. It was the people. Knowledge can be taught, but kindness, patience, and generosity come from character, and every person I met embodied those qualities. I left carrying a jasmine flower, but I also left carrying gratitude. In a world where interactions can often feel rushed and transactional, Tagawa Gardens reminded me that genuine human connection still exists. That is a gift far more valuable than anything money can buy. Thank you to everyone who made my visit unforgettable. I’ll be back, and I’ll be recommending Tagawa Gardens to everyone I know.

Super cute place. Very large with so many cool plants, garden statues, and pumpkins, very large pumpkins. We went for the Boo Hollow, which was super fun and cute. The people hosting that were all very nice and helpful. The actual garden center people didn't seem to friendly or helpful. Not one of them greeted me.
