Stovers Farm Market & U Pic - Berrien Springs MI

We stay in this part of Michigan 1-2 times a year for my husband’s job. I’ve always wanted to go here but I’ve never been here when they’re open. I am now! I love this place. What a beautiful barn and beautiful history! A wonderful selection of produce and lots of different goods. It’s also awesome to know they’re a Harvest Host!

This place is absolutely stunning. It’s the perfect spot to grab groceries and sorts of goodies. Their fruit picking service is organized and convenient. And let’s not forget, it’s an ideal place to take pictures.

The girl working the stand was new as of today. She had no clue how to answer questions about cost. Nor did she mention that there were not really enough u pick strawberries to fill the 2 buckets she gave me. The field was overgrown and the afterthought of what used to be probably a maintained patch. My fault for not realizing the season was at an end. They didn't indicate this at either the main Stivers, where I stopped first and was redirected to the u pick. I left with nothing. Just disappointed with poor or no communication to their young staff. Their main stand typically is better staffed.

We had a fantastic time and picked macintosh & honeycrisp! It's a beautiful spot and we enjoyed the coffee & donuts. The merchandise was so cute, but too expensive for us to reason buying. Totally understand that it's handmade, which should be priced higher anyway.

Stayed here via Harvest Host. Owners were friendly and helpful. Very nice farmers market with fresh produce and souvenirs. Beautiful setting. Thank you for a nice visit!
