Phelan Gardens - Colorado Springs CO

We've had nothing but fantastic experiences here. Recently we came back in to get three plants repotted, two of which are big snake plants which have thrived since we bought them from Phelan about 5 years ago. We also bought a new big plant for an empty low light corner of our house. We had exceptional help and guidance from Barb, Hunter, and Jen in both the reporting of our old plants, and guidance in selecting and caring for our new plant. Can't imagine going anywhere else for plant needs, thank you all!

I drive from Denver to come here. In sum, Phelan carries the same "Plant Select," native, and drought-tolerant selection as the Denver Botanic Gardens exclusive sales at about half price or less. Also, the people who work here, especially the tall guy, LOVE it. Good vibes, great/big plants, great selection. Worth the drive.

Sumac is already dying after 2 weeks. Did everything according to instructions. $70 wasted. Great. All the branches fell off the Tiger Eye Sumac. So now you get a one star rating. Unless you can give me a refund. Even the Licacs aren't even growing at all. So what the hell do you people do there? Just sell garbage plants that don't grow?

The staff is so helpful. My Monstera was out of control and the staff I spoke with helped me problem solve. Their permanent resident "Sue" The Monstera is a great example of how I needed to support my plants at home. Phelan Gardens is my favorite local garden center. The events they host are very fun.

Loved my visit here! So many plants to choose from l, lots of cool seeds for the garden and all the workers were super awesome and friendly.
