Best apple cider in the area. They also have the best jams and jelly, plus a lot more. Definitely worth the trip.
Not far from the towns store and restaurant. This home runned business is cute but definitely cashing in on the "tourism" side. Apples are not grown on site (you can see the empty crates on site where they bought from) pickles, jams, cider and especially apple cider vinegar is a bit expensive compared to other places. They also sell a tiny 1 ounce deli cup of chicken feed to feed the chickens, cute but not a dollar worth of cute IMO. Cashing in on city folk who think its fun to feed chickens? It is a novelty, but that food is .50lb. (again, barn door open I saw the brand and its what I use) so 3 cents of food for $1. Good mark up for them. I love to support Amish businesses, so I'm trying to list positives as well as negatives. Overall vibe is friendly BUT.... while there, a big black dog jumped on a vehicle parked there. Owner did come and take it away but the car was scratched. Several dogs running around, but the black lab does not appear to be happy if you have a dog in your car. I'd think if this dog has a history of jumping on cars, they have a sign up a least or put the dog away until after hours. I would have been quite unhappy had that dog scratched my paint. Will I go back though? Probably. But for more "unusual" items and not for shipped in apples or basics I can buy at the store a block over. Too tourist-y priced for me.
My boyfriend told me about this place. He swears they have the best apple cider ever. He was not joking! You NEED this cider! I wish I would have bought 2 more gallons! They are open to about Thanksgiving I believe. We will definitely be making a trip or two back!!!
I purchased a jar if sour dill pickles at an air market in Rochester on May 18 2024. They are the worst muchiest picked I've ever had in my life.
I love the cherry jam that is sweetened with fruit juice (no suger). We visited Kuhns Orchard and bought 2 jars of the cherry jam and 1 jar of peach jam along with some apples. Great prices and even better products 👌.
