Gethsemane Garden Center - Chicago IL

This place is our go to garden center. We come here to the great variety of plants and supplies for the garden. The plants are always healthy and marvelous. Their staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Today we bought a dogwood tree. It is planted and hopefully happy in its new home

The garden center is stunning, the staff was absolutely marvelous, from the wonderful lot director to each young person who help to ensure safe parking. The assortment of flowers is extraordinary from annuals to perennials and of course there bushes and trees. You can purchase saplings to very mature plants. There is a excellent selection of garden, pots, figures, statues and birdbaths as well. One of the best things is everyone is so knowledgeable and willing to help. I would highly recommend for service atmosphere and variety.Also it is a great place to visit if you are looking for ideas for your own secret garden. However, It is pretty costly so prepare to spend $$$.

This is one the most remarkable family owned garden centers in the US. It is a destination to behold and one I wouldn't miss if I were a visitor to Chicago. Be prepared to be moved and in awe of what is a sprawling oasis of flora and fauna. Run do not walk to Gethsemane Garden Center ☺️💕

Between the plants and the Wild Pansy gift shop, I can get lost at Gethsemane for a solid hour! The plants I've picked up here are health and thriving. I also appreciate the variety as there's always something new in the greenhouse to consider. I took a terrarium class this year that was a lot of fun too, highly recommend checking out their events page to see what they are offering.
