Reviews
Absolutely terrible experience. Wilmer, the supervisor, was loud, confrontational, and downright threatening. His behavior was completely unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable having him on my property. The truck they used to deliver the mulch had bald tires and ended up getting stuck, tearing up my front yard in the process. They left deep ruts and damage, with no effort made to fix or even acknowledge it. When I placed the order, I clearly told the manager the mulch needed to be delivered to the backyard — at no point was I informed this couldn’t be done. That should’ve been communicated from the start. To make matters worse, they didn’t even bother to backfill the damage they caused. For a supervisor, Wilmer showed no consideration and had the worst attitude I’ve ever experienced from a service provider. Absolutely unacceptable. I would never recommend this company.
Years of dumping wood and debris here. We thought very highly of them until today when they would not allow our truck to dump logs based on two concrete or rock objects in a load of brush dropped the day prior. They desire a steep price for a minimal error that occurs once every five years. Perhaps they believe this small business that legitimately operates is over flowing with cash. Perhaps it’s because I don’t speak Spanish fluently. Management did not make themselves available to discuss. The young lady at the counter did handle the situation professionally to her credit. Sadly we no longer recommend this place. That is due to a lack of appreciation for long term clients and no transparent policy for these occurrences prior to not allowing dumping.
Reasonable pricing for all your landscaping needs. Spent about $30 for one yard of mulch.
I am a frequent customer of Georgia Nursery. Great place and close to my home. Generally, materials are always in stock. I had mulch delivered, and they arrived early. Yes, early! Friendliest gentleman. The young lady whom works the counter knows her stuff. I only wish the prices were lower for the general public.
Called at 7:05 am on May 2, 2020. Asked the man who answered if I could get a price/availability list. He told me to text my number and he’d email it to me. Almost an hour later and nothing. I called back and talked to a young lady. I asked for the same thing. She said that they don’t have a list and don’t do that. I told her that I was told that they do and that one of their employees said he would less than a hour before. She didn’t seem to care about that. I then asked her for some prices and availability numbers for specific stock items. She said she didn’t have time and would have to get back to me. First, I’ve never purchased from a wholesaler that wouldn’t tell me what they have and how much it is. Second, I’m doing a job that requires several hundred plants and I have to drive a truck and trailer 1:45 each way to pick up and bring back. With my first experience being this unprofessional, it’ll also be my last with this company. Truly unfortunate.
