HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We recently moved to the area and prefer to support small local businesses. We received a warm welcome and genuine hospitality from owner Mike. We purchased a new patio set from the vast array of quality pieces. Furthermore, it was offered to be delivered same day and was so within the hour. Thank you again, Mike. We will be back!

A cute place smack in the middle of a stretch of Rte.2 that’s relatively devoid of any commercial businesses. A decent sized place. At the entrance you may recognize the mama and baby cow life sized figures that once adorned a popular spot in front of a gas station in Severna Park proper. Upon entering you notice that there’s about 10 parking spaces which seems like a good amount although I’ve always found it to feel a little more challenging to park here do to the fact that there’s always a lot of stuff out in front of the store that you have to be careful of when pulling in or backing out. The front entryway to include the parking area just always feels a little cluttered and claustrophobic to me. You have to walk thru a bunch of outdoor furniture to even get to the front door. Inside you’ll find there’s a small but thorough selection of plant chemicals, and supplies like garden gloves and trowels. There are a couple of very large rooms filled with nicer quality, more expensive patio furniture. And a third room that’s new that they’ve just added on that I assume will eventually have patio furniture in it too. They have a small selection of indoor house plants, many of which are not your every day plants that you’d find at say the garden section of Home Depot. They have a number of different varieties but only one or two of those that they have in most cases as far as I could tell. In previous visits I’ve found there to be a much larger selection of indoor plants than I saw this time. See photos. Outside, compared to say Homestead Gardens or Meadows Farms, you’ll find a smaller section of outdoor plants…more similar to maybe Gary’s Gardens. I found most of their plants to be in great shape and looking healthy and inviting, but I did find a small portion to be completely wilted and in desperate need of a drink. My understanding from speaking with the staff there was that their main focus is specializing in selling and delivering things that come in bulk like topsoil, mulch, gravel, compost, sand, etc. They do advertise that they offer free delivery but I don’t know the specifics on that. The store appears to be under new management since the last time I was there. I don’t know if that means new ownership as well. They market themselves as a family owned business. If I had reviewed this place the last time I was there a couple of years ago, it wouldn’t have gotten a very good review sadly. The employees there were always super unfriendly and not helpful. I’m happy to report that I met part of the new staff, Mike, again I’m unclear on whether he’s a new owner or just a manager of the store. He was very nice and very friendly but seemed busy when we briefly chatted. He was very helpful when I couldn’t find what I needed, taking me right to it in one case. He was the only employee I saw while I was there which seems to be right in line with what I’ve noticed in past visits. This can be a little frustrating when you’re outside with a question. I have to be honest, it’s not the first place I think to go when I need something, probably due to the more limited selection compared to other places. But if I’m looking for something specific, I’ll often go there in hopes that maybe they stock it. I can’t really put my finger on it, it just always gives me a strange feeling when I go there. I’ve never once been when there was more than one other customer shopping there at the same time. Perhaps I’m trying to shop for the wrong things when I go there, I don’t know. They also advertise that they sell 🔥 🪵. I noticed a decent selection of ceramic pots to choose from as well. I’ve given it 4 ⭐️ s because I just always feel like there’s something missing whenever I’ve gone there. I enjoyed chatting with the new management for the little bit of time that he spoke to me and helped me look for what I needed before getting back to whatever he was doing. Check the place out for yourself. See what you think. To me it just feels like a 4 ⭐️ vibe there.

Just moved nearby and wanted a few things to make the house a bit more homey. Mike was a warm welcome and offered his help immediately upon arrival. We ended up getting way more than anticipated and he was extremely helpful in the process. We will definitely be coming back in the near future! Ps their plants are legit

We've gotten our firewood here for the last 2ish years and from our first trip where we just got firewood to our last one where we treated ourselves to 2 glider/swivel Adirondacks and a side table, Mike has been amazing! He always greets us with a smile, makes us feel welcome and actually remembers who we are. Our chairs and table are amazing, high quality and super comfortable while also being a great price. Thanks for the great customer service everytime we come in!

I have had several great experiences with Mike - (recently new) owner of Arnold Farms. We get our mulch here as well as seasonal items and gardening supplies. Everything is very reasonably priced and the patio furniture and pottery are gorgeous! Mike is always so kind to my kids and we find Arnold Farms to always be a great experience and great value.
