Vintage Gardens - Smithfield RI

Super great place!! I picked up these 3 different variations of Hens & Chicks, that are multiplying like crazy!! Also a few big healthy Concord and Fuji apple trees. The owners were not only helpful but really knowledgeable about their products. Def a new destination when I’m in the area!!

My family and I had a fantastic experience today getting our Christmas tree and some local Christmas gifts. Nice parking lot, complimentary hot chocolate, candy cakes, smiles all around. We'll definitely be back!

I remember going there in the summer of 2021, and it was around the time the monarch migration was just starting to pick up. I wasn't even in the parking lot for five seconds when I saw a monarch butterfly flying overhead. I was going to buy some coneflowers, but when I saw the female monarch all over the summer lilacs, I just had to buy one. I've also found a lovely hosta for the shade garden, as well as a new variety of dicentra. I also found this beautiful Dalmatian Peach foxglove, which I planted in a slightly sunny area of my shade garden for a nice POP of color. Mom even found a lovely addition to our pollinator garden out front for the hummingbirds, bees and butterflies. Gotta keep the pollinators well fed. Anyway, whether it's for a shade garden or a pollinator garden, this is one of my favorite local garden centers. I hope I get to come back again soon and take another look at those purple foxgloves.

My family stopped by here to pick up some pumpkins. The folks here are very nice, and we even got to say hi to some chickens and goats. A wonderful stop on a beautiful day.
