Strawberry picking with my oldest son's family. Great place to do exactly that. Big ripe juicy strawberries. There's a couple of animals for city kids to experience. Not far from the Capitol City. What I really loved as well about this place? They participate in the SNAP program. It's $25.00 for a bucket along with the taste tested ones. Wonderful family day. You could spend hours here enjoying a bit of farm life.

Nice small farm stand. I love their mums and pumpkins. Reasonable price. Worth to visit. Don't forgot to say hi to the cow. and the goats.

So cute!! We loved the corn maze this year and had a fun time getting all the stamps punched out in our card. It took about 45 minutes and it was nice to have the map. We also bought some fresh veggies and a pumpkin and the veggies were huge and delicious. We met some of the cute animals they have on their farm too! It wasn’t too crowded when we went on a Sunday and the maze went smoothly, we weren’t running into people too often.

I took a large group here and we had a really bad experience with the owner, Wayne. When we first arrived, we were told the hayride is free, and pumpkins are $1/lb. Very reasonable. We did the hayride, and we all purchased pumpkins, more than 1 pumpkin per person. The pumpkins were about $215 or so. Then, when I went to pay, the owner of the farm insisted that we had done a "private hayride" (it was not private) and he tried to charge me $12 per person, and he tried to charge me for 25 people, even though our group was 17 people. He wanted me to pay for 8 additional people that were not with our group who were in the hayride. This amounted to an extra $300! This price was never disclosed before the hayride and it seemed like it was made up on the spot. The owner was really hostile both to our group and in the way he spoke to the female employees (who, by the way, were nothing but kind and great at their jobs). Anyway - we are really bummed, because we liked the farm, and it was a lot less crowded than Confreda which is where we have done events in years past. But I just can't get past the extortionate behavior of the farm owner. Incredibly short sighted, frankly, because treating customers like this will certainly keep us from coming back.
