Valley Farm of Jones Family Farms - Shelton CT

Took my kids yesterday and thought it was a great experience. We rode a tractor to the fields and then the berry pickers showed us an area to pick on. I thought the whole operation was well run and clean, and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely be going back next year. I would suggest going in the morning before it gets too hot.

The strawberries are coming to a end but we did find some pretty good ones! Have to dig deep to find the hiden gems. They are so juicy & sweet. My toddler came along, ofcourse he was picking/eating them! It is kind of a long walk to get to the berries so keep that in mind when bringing kids. We had a good time. Took us about an hour to get a full size basket.

Not thrilled. $16.50 for a very small basket of pick your own strawberries. Yes, they are much better tasting than the local markets. But really? $16.50! The workers were all very friendly.

Highly Overpriced and over rated. Used to go there almost every year but each year the prices go up. At the current rate, its better to go to stores and buy strawberries. Not worth the experience to pay almost 50$ for 4 people plus 18$ of reservation which is useless because you can just walk in. Had to walk to field at the end .. no more hay rides !!
