10/10 must-visit gift shop! They sell not only macadamia nuts, but also coffee and a variety of local gifts. You can sample all the different nuts, which was a fun bonus. There are chickens everywhere, adding to the charm, and you even get to crack your own macadamia nut in the backyard. It’s definitely more expensive than other gift shops, but considering all the activities and the experience, it was totally worth it.
This is an old roadside attraction that has morphed into a great little stop. Well worth the effort to visit - beautiful grounds with a mountain backdrop. The focus is the Macadamia nuts - but you can buy pearls too….. Lots of free samples, and the Pineapple Juice we purchased was amazing. I also had no idea how much work went into shelling these nuts - and you can try with a rock…. Lots of tour groups get dropped off here. They also will ship whatever you purchase anywhere in the world. We were a bit disappointed because other reviews indicated there were some farm tours available but they are NOT available from this location and have not been done since COVID. FYI - the frozen treats are worth trying and I highly recommend the Strawberry Guava Cream. Uber to this location and from this location was easy to get on a Wednesday in January mid day
Glad we stopped by on our Island bus tour, it was a real vibe. Free samples of coffee and nuts. A great gift shop with alot of local variety. Outside we got to actually crack a macadamia nut.
Tucked away in the countryside, this macadamia nut farm feels like a quiet escape where everything is made farm to packet. Offering fresh coconut to free coffee. We pulled in to use the bathroom 😂. Eventually turn into a quite a visit.
Great place to sample a variety of mac nuts, fresh 100% Kona coffee, seasoning salts, Huli Huli sauces, etc. Out back, they have a Coconut Hut that sells fresh coconut slices, coconut cookies, fresh fruit juice, and more. Next to the hut, they have a Mac Nut Cracking Station, which is a fun activity for keiki. Lots of great things to purchase in general at Tropical Farms. You most definitely won’t leave empty-handed! Aside from the place itself, the mountainous view and flora surrounding the building are absolutely beautiful.
