Toms is a great place! We've always wanted to go to the farm. I've seen the stand off Lake Street for years. We started with a latte and bagel sandwich from the café. Both were excellent. The coffee especially was absolutely delicious. Rich , creamy, and smooth. There are lots of baked goodies inside the shop. Outdoors is lovely too.
We had SO much fun at TOMs Farm! So much for our 1.5 year old to do. She enjoyed the barrel ride, spooky walk through the woods, the animals, & so much more. The food was very good & worth the wait (not too long 20ish minutes). The market was so cute & full of all sorts of fresh goodies & boutique gifts. Can’t wait to come back next year!
I have been going to Tom’s farm stands, both Bartlett & Algonquin for 46 years to purchase produce, plants and pick strawberries. Back then it was just a field and a barn. And just a two lane blacktop road. Seemed like the boonies. I have never been disappointed with anything. Best corn (except going home to Iowa for fresh corn lol). Produce is always fresh. Love the seasonal donuts!! I’ve taken my kids when they were little and my grandkids.
I have such a great experience at Tom's Farm every time I go here. Their garden center is beautiful, staff is always pleasant, and their little area to dine in so cute! Best part, Tom's dog is always on the farm and it's great to be greeted by him when I come. They have so much to offer for all seasons, they have a wonderful farm!
Disappointed. We went strawberry picking, but most of the strawberries were rotten. The farm store didn’t have any produce from their own fields on display — everything was imported. We came with a small child and brought a stroller. When we were about to get on the trailer, we were told that strollers were not allowed. However, before our visit, we checked their website and even called ahead, and we were told that bringing a stroller would be fine. I do not recommend this place.
