Southwest Gardens - Wheat Ridge CO

This is the go to place if you want some really amazing succulents/cactus. The guy who runs it, Carey, has owned it since the mid seven days. He is the founder of the Rocky Mountain cactus Society, or something like that. He has things growing in there that are 15 feet tall. He knows everything about the cactus succulents varieties. All of his staff are equally as informed and smart about all of the plants they have amazing specimens in all categories. I recommend it highly. A+++

🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵 Southwest Gardens is truly a Wheat Ridge institution and one of those rare places that just gets better every time you visit. The selection of succulents is hands down the best I have found anywhere in the Denver area healthy, unique, and beautifully curated. You can tell they really care about quality and it shows. It is the kind of local business that makes you want to slow down, wander, and leave inspired. I always walk out with something I did not know I needed and a few new ideas for my space, or a gift for a client :) Five stars all the way. Shop local and support places like this they are what make Wheat Ridge so special.

This place is unbelievable. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The staff was lovely and made me feel right at home - so knowledgeable and helpful. The prices are amazing. I just can’t say more good things about this place. It made my new home here in Denver area so much lighter and brighter. I will be going here moving forward!!

The staff is great and really sweet. They were helpful. I don’t blame them, but I spent hundreds of dollars on plants here. Almost all of the plants I purchased have mealybugs. It’s been a nightmare and has put my other plants I already have at risk of getting them as well.

I was specifically looking for cacti & succulents, but they've got ALOT of plants/flowers. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable & helpful.
