Sites farm - Athens ME

Where to start. As an experienced Wedding photographer my goal for couple when choosing their venue would be everything that sites farm offers. Beautiful vistas from afar as you pull into the property. Plenty of parking for guests and ample space indoors also. More than enough changes of scenery for photos. From the rows of flowers to barns, interior and exterior, the possibilities are endless. During the wedding pictured below the weather had taken a turn for the worse, however, the proprietor acted quickly to maintain a calm environment and shift without causing issues. That is one of the benefits of a venue like Sites Farm where there are so many places to have a ceremony and reception. Regarding the reception there was a beautiful kitchen and dancefloor. I have so many good things to say about this venue. I would get Married here. Highly Recommended.

We had a fantastic time picking strawberries with our almost five year old granddaughter, her first time berry picking!!Sweet strawberries were plentiful, and the patches were lined up very well, everything was well maintained and well informed staff!! Reasonable prices. We will return for the blueberries and raspberries too!!

My husband and I had the honor of attending a loved one's wedding at Sites Farm. It was the most magical day, filled with strawberry fields and the most beautiful ceremony by the water.

A beautiful barn venue with plenty of space inside and out. Walk through the blueberry bushes and you'll find a tranquil spot by a heart shaped pond, perfect for a wedding ceremony. The staff is great to work with as a client, vendor or guest.

The hours of operation for blueberry picking, posted on the sign in front of the business are 8 to 6. We drove from Augusta on a Saturday, got there at about 230pm and they were closed. Saying they closed at 1pm and offered an excuse. Either stick to posted hours or remove the sign. Telling someone to check Facebook for updates is ridiculous.
