My favorite business in town, hands down! Gale and the team are so knowledgeable and kind. I’m seeking native drought tolerant plants for my work and they have everything I’ve ever dreamed of! PotSW is a must visit in Santa Fe for all plant lovers!
Every tree, bush, vine and plant that we purchased last fall has survived and is flourishing. I cannot recommend Plants of the Southwest, and Gail, highly enough. Photos of some of the blossoms included. We will be back soon!
Love this place! The people are knowledgeable. The plants are native or grow well in this climate. This was the first time buying an established plant from them. And it was a great experience. All of the seeds we have gotten from them and planted have been great so far too. Excited to go back and get more plant babies. Especially in the spring. Also make sure to bring cash or a check since thats all they take.
Their plants are for the most part poorly rooted, will fail to get established, and generally die before the end of the season. I have tried them several times, always with the same results. Plants purchased at Agua Fria or Newman's are more reliable.
We had a wonderful lunch. Make sure you make a reservation and call in advance. Its worth it! The menu is seasonal and super fresh!!☺️ Do not miss out on desert as it is incredible, we had the hibiscus 🌺 glazed peaches 🍑 with bread crumbs, brown sugar, ice cream and sage! Delicious and very kind service. Vegetarian friendly standard menu🌵 🪴 🌱🌿🌼🏵️🥑🌻
