Pepper Greenhouses - Milton DE

GREAT place to buy plants and trees. They have extensive inventory of both annuals and perennials as well pots and decorative pieces for the garden. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and efficient. On busy days they even have someone directing parking!

The greenhouses here are absolutely beautiful. The plants are healthy. HOWEVER, SOME of the staff could use some customer service training. There are no signs asking for the wind chimes "near" the register to be touched. When they are being gently rang no more than wind would, requires someone to overly aggressive ask for folks to stop so those at the register to hear. Also, if you opt to give this place a chance apparently you need to be careful where you park. If you don't you may get blocked in due to the area near the farm field being an *unmarked* employee lot. Again, the plants here are healthy and look beautiful. There are just some issue with staffing.

Unbelievable inventory of annuals, perennials, trees,shrubs and houseplants, some very exotic.. And their prices are much lower than other garden centers. They also offer plants in cell packs or different size pots providing affordable options if you are on a limited budget. The plants were all very healthy and well taken care of, and the staff were very helpful. I was there for three hours and did not get through all they had to offer. I can't wait to go back! If gardening is your passion, you will love this place!

Helpful staff, large upscale nursery selection, rooms and greenhouses full of quality merchandise: wonderful! The plants are magnificent. I’ve had much success bringing them home and keeping them alive. Good gifts and statuary too. Mr Pepper and his family have worked hard to build an amazing plant store.

Nice LARGE greenhouses. Lots of friendly employees to help and answer questions. Every plant we have bought there is doing very well. Cannot rate it high enough!
