Orchard Heritage Park (Apricot Orchard Barn) - Sunnyvale CA

Honestly, we were excited to visit this place but our experience wasn’t all too great. We drove on a Sunday morning and tried a few samples. The staff seemed a bit rude. We weren’t sure of the shelf life of the very soft apricots. We told her we wanted the extra soft apricots and then she said they won’t last a week—so we said then we’ll take the more firm less ripe ones and she goes “you should really read before you select, it says right there on the description.” I was like what! This isn’t our day job to know the firmness of apricots and it took her one more gesture to replace the order—don’t understand why people have to make everything so complicated and have this kind of attitude towards paying customers!? Never visiting again

Truly amazing place, in the heart of Silicon Valley. Best time is in late March and early April with peach tree blooming

The historic Bianchi Brothers Barn nestled among some 800 fruit trees. They sell a variety of food including fresh apricots, dried apricots, and delicious jams. If you're lucky you might even get a chance to say hi to Sunnyvale's legendary orchard hero, Charlie Olson himself. He still works some days even though he's almost 90! This is a wonderful place. So glad it's been preserved.

Apricots are excellent this season! The fruit is large and juicy. And, the staff are friendly.

Local cherries and apricots from Sunnyvale's heritage orchard are freshly harvested and sold here every May-June. Come also for jams, dried fruit, local honey, and other tasty treats *year-round*! Elizabeth, who makes the jams herself, is just the sweetest. :) Please support local and help preserve and celebrate Sunnyvale's agricultural bounty!
