Master gardeners grow a variety of herbs, veggies and fruits to see which do best in the Mojave desert. All seasonal produce is for sale in the little hut including fresh herbs! The staff is very knowledgeable.

The manager woman there was unwelcoming and rude. Said "Can I help you?" as if they are not open to the public and marketing that they have fresh produce. Who took your joy, lady? They had little offerings this time of year. Roger made up for that interaction by telling us about the center, about the plants, tips on gardening, bees, when plants are ready to harvest, etc. He was very kind and has a wealth of knowledge to share with home gardeners.

Wonderful, intelligent and scientifically advanced experiments as well as knowledge and application useful to bother the local and global ecosystem and the best fresh pepper I’ve found in the longest time. Take the tour, buy some fruits and vegetables and donate big! Taking the bee keeping class soon.

There are hundreds of palms, bees, birds and vineyards. It is not open walk to the public however, yet they do support the community through charity. I love! their second CENTER- strawberry mint, chocolate mint..mojito flavored mint. There are actual mint plants growing and smelling of all these flavors!

Really cool if you're into agriculture, especially if you aren't from the area. If you do live in the area it's a good place to be aware of. Love your extension and the people who put in the work to create these resources. Also, I'm very jealous that every season is a growing season in deserty areas.
