This is the second year I’ve gone to Koch Family Farms and they are truly wonderful. They have sheep and goats you can feed with your children along with cows, pigs and chickens that you can watch and pet. We’ve gone to their pumpkin patch and along with a great variety of different kinds of pumpkins and all different sizes the hay ride is a great time! It’s a medium hay ride that shows off their beautiful farm and isn’t too short or long. My little boy was OBSESSED with the tractor that pulled it. Being a more down to earth actual farm they take care of their animals and are very knowledgeable about them. The farm is run by the farmer and the farmers wife and we got to meet their son and daughter who help run the farm. They have a beautiful little store and even gave my kids some corn to feed the sheep and goats (who were very friendly). I love how open the whole space is and how much room the kids have to play on the little play structure as well as a multitude of hay bales stacks with slides attached. There’s also a little covered area with a few picnic tables and a little activity table with construction toys for digging in the wood pellets that they fill it with. It makes for a very relaxing afternoon of hanging out with my children in a low stress environment with many different options to suit their moods and changing interests. I also love that you get to meet the owner and his family and get to see who you support with every purchase. Truly a small family owned farm with wonderful people. I highly recommend it if you want a place to take your children that isn’t crammed with people and outrageously expensive! I’ll be coming back every year for our pumpkins!

Such a cute local farm. One of our favorites!!! Free entry! There is a playground, hay slide, small obstacle course, little picnic area, and little trikes to ride. You can take a tractor ride out to pick your own pumpkins, or buy pre-picked. They have a cute market where you can buy local goods, including honey and jams! There are animals to feed and pet, including baby chicks! Definitely recommend for small kids (up to 10 years old). All you pay for is what you purchase pumpkin-wise and at the store :)

Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. There were 3 different berries available for u pick and the prices were reasonable too. We went during the week, so it wasn't very busy and we had lots of room to look for berries. They also sell honey and pre picked berries if you are just looking for fresh berries, but don't want to pick them yourself.

A good little family farm, we enjoyed the animals to pet and my boys played with the toys. This is not a mega farm, but a real working home farm with hard working people and great customer service. Expect some rough edges, but have fun riding out to the pumpkin field on the wagon pulled by a tractor. Enjoy getting to pick out the perfect pumpkin with your kids, and buy some local honey to round out the trip. Good people and a good farm. I come back every year.

Picked some super delicious strawberries today, tried all six kinds they had. Benton’s were definitely my favorite. Only $2.50 a pound, too. Loved the entire little farm store, such a gem.
