Imagine it’s Mother’s Day and you want flowers in the ground today, and you buy flowers that can’t be planted in the shade! As a new Gardner I was disappointed and upset at the same time. So I decided to go to a nursery instead of Walmart this time. And as I’ve learned in life things happen for a reason… and I’m so happy the reason was for me to visit the serene, beautiful and cozy Knollwood Garden Center today. I was a bit out of sorts because my daughter picked today to forget her manners and they closed in about 45 mins of me getting there. But no worries, I was met with Dan who initially made me feel at ease and was very friendly and kind. He then directed me to the owner John who helped me find the most beautiful flowers, told me how to prepare the soil, plant them and how to water. All of this while my 7 year old daughter is playing in the dirt and walking all around and about John. John was so patient (especially with my daughter, thank you John), kind, direct and a master of his craft. He is a wealth of knowledge, loves to help people, and a man of great integrity. Having just met him today, I can confidently say this because it shows in who he is and how pleasant and happy his team is. From the moment we came through the doors to checking out we were welcomed, genuinely respected and appreciated as valued patrons. Lastly , the prices are amazing, and their plants, flowers, and shop are show stopping. I can’t wait to take myself on date to really spend time alone and bask in the glory that is Knollwood. Don’t hesitate to treat yourself to a wonderful experience and don’t forget to take home something beautiful. ❤️

I recently visited Knollwood Garden Center and Landscaping in Dayton, Ohio for the first time and I must say, this place is a hidden gem for all gardeners or soon-to-be gardeners out there. I was in search of some hanging plants for my porch and was pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of plants and gardening accessories they had to offer. Upon entering the store, I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable employees, John and Tammy, who were more than willing to help me find the perfect plants for my porch. They took the time to explain to me which plants needed more sunlight and which ones required more shade, as well as how often to water them and how to properly care for them. They even gave me tips on how to clean and preserve my pots for reuse next year. The store itself was clean and well-organized, making it easy for me to browse through their vast selection of outdoor and indoor plants, gardening tools, and accessories. I was impressed by the variety of items they had in stock - everything from succulents to flowers to herbs, they had it all. In addition to their great selection, I was also pleased with their pricing. Knollwood Garden Center and Landscaping offers reasonable prices on all of their products and even runs deals on clearance and markdown items. As a budget-conscious shopper, this was a huge plus for me. Overall, my experience at Knollwood Garden Center and Landscaping was fantastic and I will definitely be making this my go-to spot for all of my gardening needs. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the Dayton area looking for high-quality plants and excellent customer service. I will definitely be returning again in the near future.

Amazing customer service! I lost my fiancé recently and took one of the arrangements from his service to be potted. Donna did a beautiful job of separating and individually potting the plants. I’ll be forever grateful for her kindness and understanding. Thank you Donna!

Wow! What a phenomenal selection! Lots of harder to find plants, some very beautiful holiday decor, and a nice selection of plant pots. The prices are good and the plants are very healthy. There is a restroom that customers can use.
