Reviews
This is a fantastic family-owned farm that offers farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, along with an impressive on-site bakery. Their apples are particularly outstanding. It's an excellent place to visit during apple and pumpkin season. You can enjoy not only fresh apples but also a variety of delicious baked goods, including caramel apple pie, donuts, and fried pies, all of which are highly recommended. The staff is friendly, polite, and informative, making your visit enjoyable. This farm is a favorite spot for fruit picking, fall activities, or simply indulging in apple donuts. Additionally, they welcome dogs, allowing them to join in on the hayrides and apple picking fun.
The Kindervelt group #44 has a booth at Irons Farm this weekend, along with other great vendors! Brave the heat long enough to shop some great items! And check out the peacocks roaming around! 😊
I bought 6 large peaches and they were all full of root and mold in less than 2 days. I came here in hopes of getting farm grown fruits and vegetables. That is not the case. The peaches are from Georgia and likely bought from a grocery store then upcharged to $5.49 a lb. The blackberries, blueberries, and strawberries aren't grown here. We also got a small blueberry pie and it was not very good but also $8. I won't be back.
Just NO. Low grade farm with crappy looking apples and high prices. We paid $18 for one medium sized pumpkin and 6 cider donuts. Cider donuts are nothing to write home about. I know the economy is wacked right now but I can tell you its worth our gas and time ti drive to Indiana and get a far better experience with reasonable prices and good tasting product. This is not an experience its a rip off.
The apple cider is the best cider I have ever had. The cider donuts were incredible and we were in a long line waiting for the next batch to come out. Everyone else is clearly a fan too. They had live music and a food truck but a whole lot of bees which made us not even able to eat our food because the bees kept landing on it. We came on a fall weekend afternoon and it was crazy busy and we decided to not go on the hay ride because it was so long. The parking is just in a bumpy field and i definitely would not want to come after it rained because I see it just being a huge mud pit.
