Reviews
I recently visited Kiel Ranch Historic Park and was genuinely impressed by the experience. This park offers a unique blend of natural beauty and historical charm, making it a standout destination in North Las Vegas. It’s conveniently located just five minutes from my home, which makes it even more enjoyable to visit. The park features a variety of elements that create a rich and relaxing environment, including an artesian spring, a gazebo, picnic areas, and diverse wildlife such as frogs, fish, ducks, and even wild cats. The combination of greenery, water features, and open space provides a peaceful setting that is perfect for families or anyone looking to unwind outdoors. My dogs also thoroughly enjoyed the visit, which made the experience even better. While my overall experience was very positive, there are a few areas that could be improved. I noticed some trash in the water, and additional trash cans—especially near the water—would help maintain the park’s cleanliness. Regular maintenance and cleanup efforts would go a long way in preserving the park’s natural appeal. Additionally, there was one individual experiencing homelessness in the area, which may be a concern for some visitors. Overall, this park is a great addition to the community and a step in the right direction for North Las Vegas. With a bit more attention to upkeep, it has the potential to be an exceptional local destination.
This is a beautiful park with lots of potential but the surrounding area is not for the faint of heart. The park did have unhoused hanging out. There is plenty of parking, lots of picnic tables and a few grills. The park has nice sign boards and walking paths. Some are paved for accessibility but many are flat gravel.
This hidden gem is just 3 miles north of Fremont Street, in downtown Las Vegas. It's a historic site, and a well-maintained park. Kiel Ranch Historic Site, in the City of North Las Vegas, was one of the earliest ranches established in North Las Vegas Valley. The adobe structure is one of the oldest buildings in the region. The site is also home to an artesian well and a small wetlands. There is a picnic area and as far as I can tell, BBQ grills that have never even been used!
I love anything about history! It is sad that the homeless have ruined parts of this place
Parked is revamped! Now one can get fruits and vegetables from the Orchard. Love to walk here at night feeling the history of this location. The sounds of the Doll house back in the 1800s and also enjoying the alien life from Area 51
