⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointing experience. We drove out to pick strawberries, only to find that there were almost none left in the field. Many customers were walking around with nearly empty baskets because there simply wasn’t enough fruit to pick. To make matters worse, they still charge for the baskets, and if you’re not paying attention at checkout, you may end up paying more than you should. The cashier tried to add an extra $10 to our total, and we only caught it because we carefully checked the price. Customers shouldn’t have to worry about being overcharged while also struggling to find strawberries. Save your time and money and look for another farm. 🍓🚫💸
Had a great time picking strawberries! Bring your own container to pick and its $2.50 per pound which is the cheapest I have seen anywhere. No reservations needed. Take a container with a hard bottom. Take it slow and start in the back or the middle of the rows! They also have a market where you can buy other produce. It can get muddy after rainy weather so bring boots if it rained recently!
Staff do not create a welcoming environment. Took my toddler to pick strawberries and the employee overlooking the field/directing traffic was yelling at customers (to "not cross the strawberry rows" and slow down") the whole time. I get there are rules they want people to follow but having an angry man yell it in a hostile tone through a mega phone is not the way to go about it. It just created a very high stress anxiety ridden experience and I wanted to get out of there as quickly as I could. Also charging $2 for a plastic disposable bag is ridiculous. I was told they had picking baskets for $2 or they had plastic bags. I assumed the bags were free by the way the options were worded and was surprised by my total. I confirmed they charge $2 for the bags too and the lady said "yes and you can always bring it back next year!" As of I'm going to store a plastic disposable bag in my cupboard for a whole year???
Great place to go for U pick strawberries. Highly recommend
This was so much fun on a sunny Saturday afternoon! Their website was not updated at all, which caused a couple of minor issues. First, we ended up catching them on one of their last days, because the website had said that their season had not yet started. Second, I hadn't seen anything about bringing your own bag/basket to hold your strawberries. Common sense? Yeah, probably. It still might have been nice to know rather than having to spend $2 on one of their plastic bags 🙃 other than that, the strawberries that we were able to scrounge up were tasty & fresh! I'll be back next year with my own basket!
