Baker's Acres Greenhouse - Alexandria OH

I can spend hours reading about their plants. They have so many unique varieties that you don’t see at big box stores. This is the best nursery in Ohio!

This is a great nursery have all types of houseplants outdoor plants I was looking for cactuses and they had a wide variety!

I went in a Thursday morning. It was busy but they have plenty of parking and carts. They have a small play area for kids which could come in handy if they get restless. The have a large selection of annuals and perennials. When you go inside they have a good selection of rare plants. They are pricey of course. But if your looking for something special they just might have it. I love that they have everything clearly labeled and prices are easy to see and understand. I was looking for trees and rose bushes and didn’t find either. They do have a few bushes and miniatures which would make great bonsais. I found it overall a little pricey but definitely worth checking out.

I stopped just to look. Never do that. Early in the season, they had a lot of inventory. Their flower baskets were so full and beautiful colors. They had so many varieties for a smaller greenhouse. They have herbs and vegetables. They have some pots, supplies, and seeds. There is plenty of parking. They do have carts to hold your purchases. The staff was nice. Inside the building, they had a small snack shop. Outside, there was a food truck.

I bought over $400 of houseplants yesterday, (when I asked if they had albos, they were kind enough to bring me a few options that weren’t on sales floor quite yet). I even found a $125 frozen freckle monstera (yes they even have these too!!) I bought 5 in all I believe. I had an issue with one of the plants once I got home, but Bakers Acres was quick to respond and we are rectifying now. Will update. However, I would absolutely buy from here again. I drove 45 mins just to browse and left very happy. I try to always support local businesses vs internet when it comes to my houseplants
