Green Hills Nursery - Fresno CA

I’m not usually one to leave negative reviews, but I was genuinely disappointed by the lack of phone etiquette I experienced. I called to inquire about hydrangeas—specifically whether they were in stock and what the pricing looked like. I was told, “It depends on the hydrangeas, they are listed from $30–$40.” I then asked what varieties were available or if it would be more beneficial for me to come in and look in person. The response I received was, “Uh, well there’s nothing grown, so?” The tone felt dismissive, but I chose to continue the conversation. I asked whether they had other mature flowers ready to be potted, and the response, accompanied by a slight laugh, was, “Ha, what do you mean? Like we have roses…” At that point, I politely ended the call and let them know I would be taking my business elsewhere. It’s unfortunate, as I was genuinely looking forward to working with this company while relandscaping my yard. Customer service—especially over the phone—makes a lasting impression, and this experience fell short of expectations.

Great variety and prices but best of all wonderful staff who are very patient, knowledgeable, and super helpful!! We will definitely keep on coming back here for our garden needs.

This nursery is top tier on plant selection and more importantly the STAFF. The incredibly friendly and knowledgeable people working here make this place such a nice place to shop. I am a customer for life because they treat everyone like family. Prices are incredibly fair and plants are great quality. My go to nursery for all my plants, both indoor and outdoor.

My gardener recommended this nursery, and even though it is far from Tower, it is worth the trip. I have bought lots of plants there in the past 4 years and for the most part, they have done well. Unfortunately, one time they came out to plant a tree I bought, but brought out and planted some other tree. They eventually corrected the error and now my tree is doing great! My pistache, ginko, pear and various bushes are all doing awesome as well. My favorite find was the beautiful statue from an artist is the east coast.

Seriously beautiful place. A variety of literally everything. If it wasn't so hot today,I probably would have stayed longer. I didn't get any pics sadly. I was enjoying myself just walking around,to busy to take pictures. Sorry.
