The "Four-in-One" Orchard Experiment I picked up these fruit trees last October from Belmont Nursery and finally got them into the ground—all sharing a single hole! This high-density planting technique was actually tested and proven by the experts at UC Davis. I first discovered the method in an article from the 1990s—back when we actually had to flip through paper to find information-think pre-internet days. I’ve already had great success with cross-pollinating cherries, apples, and pears. This time around, I’m betting on a trio of Gold Kist and Blenheim (Royal) apricots, anchored by a Santa Rosa plum. The team at Belmont Nursery was a huge help, walking us through the best varieties and giving us the inside scoop on placement for that perfect, sun-ripened fruit. We even headed back today for a "spa day" kit for the trees: mulch for the soil and some protective paint to shield the bark from the blistering Fresno sun. The staff there is always incredibly sharp and helpful. We’ve been loyal fans of Belmont Nursery since 1995, and they haven't let us down yet!

I really enjoy this place and they have just about everything you need to create a great landscape. Their selection of succulents is quite good, although the prices are a bit higher than what you might normally see. The indoor plant selection is more limited, and they don’t always have the best quality indoor plants available. Where they really stand out is with their trees. They have an incredible variety, especially when it comes to maples. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because their pots are very expensive and it can sometimes be difficult to find someone available to help you. One thing I do appreciate is their guarantee on trees. As long as you buy the soil there and follow their care instructions, they stand behind their plants, which gives some peace of mind since trees can be quite expensive. I’ve never had an issue with that. I’d recommend visiting on a weekday if possible. Overall, this place makes me happy to shop at, although I’ll probably buy my pots somewhere else. Highly recommended.

So if your looking for some plants and don’t know what to get for the area , I would highly recommend coming here . The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Plants are a little more expensive but at least you know what you are getting and will work for our growing season . They currently have a plant/tree sale going on 25 % of of trees and plants !!

I have been going to Belmont nursery for many years. I have notice over the last year customer service has severely declined. My mother and I recently went there we needed assistance so we walked over and asked an employee for help . She immediately looked at us as if we were bothering her, said she didn't know and to ask look for another employee. She was rude and obnoxious. After that encounter I will no longer shop there. I hope no one else has this same customer service experience

Great selection, but over priced fruit trees. Almost every selection can be found for 20-30.00 cheaper at other nurseries in town. Oddly 2 nurseries in clovis had the same selections for much cheaper. The selections I was looking for were all gone except for a few poor specimens, that I couldn't justify spending what they were asking. I actually went back to Clovis and bought 9 fruit trees, saved almost 300 bucks. The citrus trees are grossly over priced. Also they up pot stuff really early which means you pay more for less established plants.
