Gardener's Supply Company - Williston VT

I stopped by Gardener’s Supply Company with two Money Trees that desperately needed repotting, and this location did not disappoint. My plants were starting to look like they were questioning their life choices, so it was definitely time for a refresh. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They didn’t just repot the plants, they explained every step of the process, from the soil mix they selected to how often I should water going forward. I really appreciated that they took the time to educate me rather than just doing the job and sending me on my way. You can tell they genuinely care about plant health and customer experience. The store itself is such a vibe - well-organized, clean, and full of beautiful greenery, planters, gardening tools, and décor. It’s one of those places you walk into intending to fix one issue and suddenly you’re considering starting a full garden. There’s a great balance of options for both beginners and serious gardeners. Pricing was fair, quality was high, and customer service was truly standout. My Money Trees look healthier already, like they just left a spa day. Overall, a wonderful experience. I will definitely be coming back for more plants, supplies, and probably another round of plant therapy. 🌱

This is my favorite place to come! As a plant lover, this store does SUCH a beautiful job of many things that they do. I have always absolutely loved it here. I have purchased trees to plant in our yard that I truly love from this store, Most of my house plants were bought here, I have been given such good advice from truly invested employees in the past. With that said, I’m heartbroken that I can’t say all good things after my visit today. This morning I came here with my 2 young children to get some bird food and garden ornaments for spring. We stopped at the cafe & ate, we tried to pay with a gift card I was given as a baby shower gift & they couldn't take it because their gift card system was a mess. Hopefully I’ll be able to use it next time??? Ridiculous. (Advice: Don’t purchase gift cards here if you want to be able to use them.) But not only that, then I was stalked throughout the store by an employee name Sarah, who I am presuming was trying to catch us in the act of stealing something? Even though I am a long time, high paying customer with an account here??!? And then lastly, after being made to feel highly uncomfortable today, on my day off from work with my kiddos, I was also almost sold a $100 infested tree/bush. Infested with multiple kinds of pests. A Good Samaritan fellow customer stopped to tell me before purchasing on our way out, thankfully. Part of my joy that came from this store has been lost today. And I don’t think I’m the only one who feels this way unfortunately from some of the past reviews here. Very sad. Please do better Gardeners Supply. :/

Gardener's Supply has really rolled out the red carpet for me recently. I've been amazed with how friendly and helpful the staff are in these places. Olivia consulted with me extensively on various plants I was considering for my apartment. Denise helped me, with great zeal, locate and repot a retinue of plants. Doug did the same recently with a giant peace lily, including helping me situate it into my undersized vehicle (made it home completely intact, Doug, thank you!) along with Anna. Brian, the pottery master, helped me specially fabricate some drainage holes into a pot where there were none. I think it should say a LOT that I know these people's names from one or two interactions-- they were THAT NICE. Whew. Alright, that should just about do it for this review. GO VISIT THIS PLACE PEOPLE. I freaking love Gardner's Supply!

The main / flagship store of Gardener’s Supply Company is AWESOME. We have been buying items from Gardeners Supply for years but we have never been in one of their stores. And we were in this area so we decided to add it to our trip. It was well worth it. It was GREAT. Everyone was so nice and polite. Everyone offered to help us. And we were just looking and making plans for future purchases. If you get a chance you NEED to stop in and spend an hour or so. You will love it. We did. We highly recommend this store.

Whether you are in the market for houseplants, flowers for your garden, bulbs to give to a friend, succulents, cacti, soil, pots for plants of all sizes, gloves or any equipment this store has just about everything. There is plenty of parking and now that it's warm out much of the store is walkable outside. There is a cute indoor koi pond and there's a great selection of plants. Prepare to spend more than a half hour here - it's a lot of fun stuff. I've never truly been a gardener but I do appreciate some house plants. This store had great prices and a wide variety of goods. Located near a lot of other shops in Williston, you can always stop in after getting some other errands done! We really enjoyed it and will be back soon.
