Drumheller's Orchard - Lovingston VA

Some reasonable priced crafts. The apple cider was $12 a gallon which was a bit pricey for me. And they did offer samples to try before you buy which was nice. Quite a few food trucks to choose from. I was a bit disappointed as I thought this was pick your apples, they did have apples in bins to choose from. There were a lot of people there for sure. The apple cider slushie had run out and it was 10 minutes before it would be ready so I didn’t wait. The apple cider donuts were ok. The apple pie $20 for a pie worth every penny. I have not had an apple pie this good in a long time. I should have gotten more photos but wasn’t there that long. The music wasn’t playing while I was there.

Best peach pie, peach ice cream, peach banana bread, and peaches I’ve ever had. Amazing views of Virginia mountains. Loved family time picking berries there, too.

Drumheller's has so many apples! All sorts, choose your own from large bins. They also have rides, alpacas, and all sorts of fun things for visiting families. The parking for the huge crowds is very efficient, with easy directions for empty spaces and easy exit afterwards. I tried some cider, and it was awesome. Since it was hot, I shopped while my husband walked our dog, which is the only photo we took, but it shows the pretty area surrounding the orchard.

Beautiful orchard with a wonderful little store. We go for the festivals. Ac tivities, food trucks, etc. A lovely day activity.

Great apple orchard. We go yearly. Went to the fall festival and had lots of fun. Food, venders, hay ride, apples and pumpkins, live band. Just wish they had more chairs around for people to sit and eat/ rest. Wheelchair could not get to picnic area up on hill. Several things for kids- face painting, bounce house, etc. Fun family event.
