Delvin Farms - College Grove TN

What a wonderful Arrington treasure. It's a great little farmers market filled with actual grown-in-the-area vegetables and goat cheese delivered by goats where you can actually look into their little goat eyes. Sustainable produce the way it should be. Go there. Even if it's not on your way...go out of your way to support local farms.

Could have been a contender. A burly white woman emerged from the store and rudely informed us that it was private property. Huh?! We've visited on other occasions. Parked in the front parking lot, she toddled out with a ferocious attitude. I'd caution young black women not to spend their money here. One member of our party, a young white woman, confronted her. It's too bad. Enjoyed it in the past. Wish I could give it "zero." Lesson here: capitalism clearly doesn't trump preferences. And that's just fine.

I got some olive oil, a handmade candle and a bar of soap. Very cute shop. Worth the 15 minute stop.

I received a post card in the mail about their strawberries. Drove out there same day I received it and they were sold out. I hope they consider this in the future, don’t send mailers out inviting customers in and not have anything. Or say limited quantity and until sold out. I could have spent an hour of my time doing something else. Just bummed I missed out on fresh strawberries this year.
