Cliff Avenue Greenhouse & Garden Center - Sioux Falls SD

I bought two plants here today & absolutely love them!! This greenhouse is massive and such a fun spot to go to. Would definitely recommend coming here if you need something to do on a day off or need to get some new plants :)

Apparently this greenhouse believes their responsibility ends the moment you walk out the door. I purchased four plants — two were dead within a week. When I contacted them, I was basically told “too bad.” Plants die sometimes, sure but two out of four plants dying in under a week points to poor plant health before they were sold. The real issue though, was the response. The customer service was dismissive and made it very clear that once they had my money, they didn’t care. No concern, no troubleshooting, no attempt to stand behind the quality of what they sell.

Definitely won't be coming back here! We purchased a $70 plant that's not doing so well. We was treated with rudeness when the lady explained they won't honor their warranty because it was re-planted in a pot and not the ground. At the time of purchase we were not made aware of this requirement for a refund.

I really liked their little boutique and all the fun displays they had. Their flowers are absolutely gorgeous and they seem to be very knowledgeable. The strangest thing to me was the people all seemed like automatons. Robots. They didn't smile, they didn't look happy, everyone looked like they were afraid they were going to have to make conversation, or be nice. That's really sad. There is something seriously missing. It's like they don't really care. I didn't feel very comfortable there at all. I probably won't be back.

Had a rough start to my day and needed a little pick me up. Nothing brings a happy feeling like a greenhouse full of flowers.
