Carver's Orchard - Cosby TN

Excellent lunch on Saturday. I had the catfish and my companion had the ground beef steak. Both were cooked to order. We shared an order of apple fritters that came with apple butter. Both were excellent as well as was the service. Large, bright dining room with a nice view of an apple orchard outside of the window. Plenty of parking. Want to come back later and try the chicken and dumplings or maybe the fried chicken? Our server, Robin, was very attentive and did not let my drink get empty, which is not an easy task on a hot Saturday afternoon. Did not have time to visit the apple market next-door. The apple butter brought back fond memories of my childhood in the 1960s. Highly recommended restaurant; you won’t be disappointed!

This is literally one of my favorite restaurants, it's definitely in the top 3 favorites for me. You start your meal off with warm apple fritters and homemade apple butter, then you can get a whole meal, a drink, and a dessert for less than 15 bucks. I have not had a single bite of anything from Carver's Orchard yet that i could even consider disappointing. You definitely want to get a dozen of the apple fritters, do not just get 6, it will not be enough. I PROMISE, YOU WILL NEED A DOZEN!!! 🤣❤️ I'm pretty sure about my top three restaurants, there's the old mill, in pigeon forge, Carver's Orchard in Cosby, or for the uninitiated, I guess you would consider it Newport, and my top number one most favorite restaurant of all time, anywhere in the world, would be Pier 20, a seafood restaurant, in Wilmington, NC. My #1 favorite restaurant, Pier 20, closed down years ago 🥺😢😭 but it made such an impression on me growing up, and during my young adult years, that I'm going to keep it in my top, #1, most absolute favorite restaurant in the world and nothing will ever be able to replace it. But definitely go check out this place, my wife always calls it The Apple Barn LOL. The country cooking there is so good there that sometimes it feels a little bit like my grandma's cooking, sort of, just trust me, the food is great and you should check it out. Don't take my word for it, get on down to Cosby now and check out Carver's Orchard. I promise you won't regret it

Beautiful local Smoky Mountain Apple Orchard! I've been coming here for 36 years, Best fresh cider, homemade fried apple pies (come early, they can run out!), lots of apple varieties to choose from in the fall. They have a large Assortment of handmade crafts and a fresh vegetable section as well. October is hopping, lots of visitors, apples of all sorts. You can buy them by the bushel. I got 1/2 bushel of Fuji apples for $13! That's a lot of apples! Check out the handmade chocolate at the candy shop, get a jar of apple butter, a jug of cider and some local honey to take with you.

Very nice place to buy local aplles and seasonal veggies. Very reasonable prices. Delicious Amish fried apples pie. Candy store is closed for winter.

Very crowded today but to be expected in October. Been going there for decades. Support local businesses!! Got a really cute pumpkin 🎃
