Went for u-pick strawberries and they were absolutely plentiful and delicious. They also have muscadine grapes, blackberries, blueberries and a various other fruits and veggies. Kid friendly and they also host field trips with various little activities to keep kids around the farm
Loved the strawberry picking experience can’t wait to go back with the kids already. They also have a small feeding farm where you can purchase goat food to feed them right before leaving the farm. The strawberries were very big and sweet and the cashier up front was very nice.
2019 Real good produce. Peaches, strawberries, watermelon, blueberries, blackberries, tomatoes, plums, honey, gem mining, petting zoo, beautiful scenery it really is a lovely place. The strawberries are impeccable this year, so are the peaches. Friday July 29 2022 Went here with my one year old son, Mama, and my Daddy. We bought 2 baskets of peaches and goat feed. My son was so curious about the goats. I'm 6 months pregnant and always craving fresh produce so we're definitely going to enjoy these peaches. The weather was beautiful today. We just sat outside fed the goats and enjoyed the weather.
What a joy and education all in one. My son's 2nd grade class visited on a field trip. They were able to feed the goats; milk the udders on a simulated cow; pump water to send rubber duckies on a race; throw bean bags through the holes of animal cut outs; pock delicious plump strawberries; and the most fun of all (for me), was riding the tractor and hearing the wealth of information as well as skill it takes to be a farmer--it is a science. From procuring strawberry plants cultivated in Canada to keeping them warm to Bee keeping and its honey (real, with one bubble) to protecting the crops from deer who don't see depth, it was fun frolicking at the farm. We were even greeted with an ice cream after the tour ended. What a day! What a FARM!
