First time visiting and absolutely loved it! I came out to visit the sunflowers but didn’t realize they had them at a different location. The store was well stocked with all choices of produce. The staff was friendly and showed me the address for the sunflowers. It’s about a 20 minute drive from there and is worth it. They have 10 acres of sunflowers and the staff was friendly. Will be back every year!
So last year I bought strawberries from here twice (they’re not cheap) but I like supporting our local farmers. Both times last year the strawberries were awful, bordering moldy and absolutely flavorless. I’ll forgive it, it happens. Not a good season. Whatever. I came back again this week and they’re just as horrible. You would think farmer owned they would care about the quality if they’re gonna slap on that price tag, and why are they even being sold at all, get in touch with a different farmer, cause whomever is providing right now clearly does not care about quality. Don’t buy strawberries here, please. I can say one good thing though the peaches and watermelons are usually fantastic that’s why this isn’t a 1 star review.
Great place with great people. Have always enjoyed going to Fishers. I especially love the seeded orange watermelon. Can’t wait to they get them again. See y’all again soon. Signed THE WATERMELON KING 🍉😉
Wonderful family run farm stand and was blown away by the selection of plants, seasonal produce, The Dutch Kettle jams, and flowers! And at reasonable prices! Can’t wait for peaches to be in season….
I had a really disappointing experience here on April 4th 2026 around 1pm. I walked in excited to support a small business and asked a simple question—whether they accepted credit cards. Instead of just answering, I was met with a judgmental look and told, “Yes, but there’s a surcharge—and we don’t take EBT or food vouchers.” That response was unnecessary and honestly offensive. I didn’t ask about assistance programs, and there was no reason to bring that up. It felt like an assumption was made about me the moment I walked in. Let me be clear: there is nothing wrong with people who use EBT or need assistance. What is wrong is making assumptions about someone and speaking to them in a way that reflects bias or prejudice. For context, I’m a registered nurse—someone who works hard, contributes to my community, and deserves to be treated with the same respect as anyone else who walks through that door. If you run a business—especially one that depends on the community—how you treat people matters. Respect should never be optional. Do better.
