What makes Burnett's the best is the staff. Yes, the selection is fabulous...by far the best around and the prices are reasonable. I have bought trees, shrubs, and many flowers and they all thrive. It's the staff, however, that make it a special place. Jennifer and Heather are so kind; every year they help me find flowers and give me great advice. Yesterday, Cameron was so pleasant at check out, and Aubrey provided me with several options for fertilization that were within my budget. Gardening can be complex, so know that you can depend on the staff at Burnetts to help you and make the experience fun!

We had the BEST time here!! Burnett's Pollinator Park is an absolute gem for families and nature lovers! 🌼 The park is not only stunningly beautiful with its vibrant array of flowers, but it's also educational and engaging for kids. My children were thrilled to learn about the essential role pollinators play in our ecosystem through interactive exhibits and hands-on activities. The well-maintained paths and friendly staff made our visit even more enjoyable. It's a perfect spot for a family outing, blending fun and learning seamlessly. Highly recommend for anyone looking to connect with nature and inspire young minds! 🌸🌿🐝

What a beautiful place! The main building has a tropical room full of houseplants, succulents, statuary and so much more. Nice wide aisles, bright and airy. Lots of trees and bushes outside. Flowers and hanging baskets are starting to get filled in. A bit of sticker shock on some of the more unusual plants like everything else these days! Great variety, staff was knowledgeable and very helpful.

i went to do some nursery searching for natives yesterday and i ended up here on a whim. i was so excited to see they had a section dedicated to native plants. (so responsible and admirable i may add). I was assisted by a worker with looking for shade plants and he was very knowledgeable and helped me without any type of rush. all of the workers are so nice without being overwhelming which i absolutely love. and their prices are reasonable. another plus is they have informative posters around with information about certain plants and why natives are so important! i left with these two beautiful babes (although i shouldve bought more, but ill be back) theres a pretty blue ceramic bird hanging out in the pot that i also bought from them its just not very visible. and pic of the spiderweb i came across while there and the cool liverwort in one of the pots. i know if youre reading these reviews youll appreciate it ❤️

This Saturday, I was on my way back to my Brother and Sister in Laws house in New London from South Windsor and noticed Burnett's Country Gardens on my drive.. I remember years ago when I was visiting, My Brother and I stopped here to buy a Rosemary plant for my Sister in Law (named Rosemary) So today I thought it would be a nice gift to give my Sister in Law again.. I'm glad I stopped ❤️ I was greeted by a Smiling, welcoming young lady and three younger girls.. So polite and friendly, Unfortunately now is not the best time of year to have a Rosemary plant, But the young lady helped me pick out two nice plants that would be nice at this time 🪴🪻and I liked them.. The best part of my day was when one of the really younger girls handed me an envelope with Rosemary seeds in it! 🥹 so my Sister in Law "Rosemary" could grow them in the near future.. Thank You Alice and the tall Redhead (also always smiling 😊) and the younger girls.. So Cute!! Thank You ❤️
