Brookfield Orchards - North Brookfield MA

Took a nice ride out to Brookfield Orchards in North Brookfield 🍎 The first thing I tried was a cider donut ice cream sandwich — and wow, it was delicious. After that, I browsed through the shop and sampled some fudge. The dill flavor was definitely not it, but the pumpkin and apple ones were so good! Ended up grabbing some fresh pears and a cute little pumpkin to take home 🎃 On the way out, Hardwick Vineyard & Winery was offering samples, and let’s just say the Prescott Pear wine came home with me 🍐🍷

Such a beautiful place to visit any day of the year. The country store is open every day of the year. We visited in early December and bought some delicious apples, apple cider, cheddar cheese and other goodies. We also particularly loved the bookshelf stocked with the works by local authors. What joy to see all the many local stories. The surroundings are gorgeous on a lovely hilltop. Great to bring your kids, too!

We LOVE it here! I’ve been coming here for many years with my kids and now I brought my grandson who is 2. They are so nice here and there are fun activities for the kids, live band, vendors, wine tasting and of course a huge apple orchard to pick many different variety of apples. Inside the barn you will find apple pies, cider donuts, cheese, fudge, antiques, kids toys, candy, local honey, jams, local maple syrup…..Just about anything you’d want! They are also open year round if you are looking for some fresh apples or a delicious bag of cider donuts!

Apples delicious of course that you can pick from the orchard trees or from the store. There is an outside snack shack and a big country store with amazing homemade sweets, apple bakery, apple cider, along with other types of beverages with cute, interesting finds to buy. The best! best part is their playground, you have kids, they will love it. Not only is it big, but it's big! A huge sandbox, probably 5-6 kids can fit in with many, many construction trucks to to play with. Tall slide, a seesaw, a merry-go-round, playhouse and swing set. I might even be missing something, anyways my grandchild had a blast, totally recommend you go. Not to mention the playground is free.

Lovely apple picking experience! We were happy with the variety of apples available and a mix of the Courtland and Empire apples made the best apple crumble! Employees inside the shop and food stand were very sweet and answered all of our questions!
