Reviews
For the second day in a row, as a commercial customer, and as a 30 high end landscape professional, I have had an amazing experience purchasing from Bigelow Nurseries. We had to get an order filed quickly, for an important customer! From Nick in the sales staff, Robin at the desk, to Mr. Jimmy and the loading crews EVERYONE was GREAT, PROFESSIONAL, they wrapped my tree.... I'm honestly blown away by the speed, pricing, and quality product! Thank you very mulch!
This review is not to complain about the quality of the products. I have been purchasing plants from Bigelow for many years and quality has always been excellent. My issue is more with a business practice. Two days ago, I bought 4 expensive Holly trees for my yard. Again, the quality was excellent. I found out one day later that if I had purchased five of these trees, they would have been a $21 discount per a tree. I went back and asked if I could get the fifth tree and pay the difference, which in fact was another $105. I was told that because they were not all purchased the same day they could not honor the deal, even though it was only one to two days later. Again, I have no complaints about the quality of the products. I feel that Customer Service has something to be desired. I understand if I showed up weeks or months later asking for it, but it really was 24 to 48 hours. Thank you for your attention.
Gone here twice: Got two creeping foamflowers- didn’t survive the winter but I put them in a pretty dry spot and stopped watering after a while to seee if theh would be self sufficient One flowering foamflower that still grows (put that one more into the wetlands) and is very pretty. Survived winter. Two wood asters survived the winter too. They were very full when I bought them and are well adjusted to the environment I put them in (the same semi-dry environment the foamflowers were) I just bought six more wood asters and had even less of a grace period for them to get off of my hand watering (like could only do it for 4 days after planting) and they are doing good. They will probably survive winter. Great to replace spots of invasive plants with natives :)
Very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff. We asked a few questions regarding some previous plantings and received answers specific to our needs.
love the varieties. Professional staff is a great help.
