Apple Barrel Orchards and Cidery - Penn Yan NY

We arrived at the end of the season. On a Sunday. We bought apples from the onsite store as well as mini donuts & lots of cider. Apples are tasty & fresh..the cider was some of the best I've had. Warm donuts were perfect for the chilly day.

Great cider venue! I really loved their ciders. I got a $12 flight of the apple mead, concord, cherry and raspberry ciders. If you like sweet cider, you've got to try the cherry and the raspberry cider. Absolutely delicious!! They had a food truck and live music on a Saturday and the place was bustling. Mostly outdoor seating so come dressed for the weather.

Apple Barrel Orchards and Cidery is the place to go!!! Everything is top quality and the owners are 2 of the best people you will ever meet, guaranteed!! The story goes that the current owners are the 4th generation on the farm and also that current owner Allison was born in the orchard one day when her mom was out picking apples. Talk about having apples in your blood!! If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

Great family owned business! Mike and Allison are friendly, down to earth people who take time to talk to their customers. The Red Raspberry and Tart Cherry ciders are perfect any time of year, especially on those hot summer days. Definitely a local favorite.

Beautiful scenic views, peaceful, easy to pick fruit, delicious apples and grapes. Never picked grapes before. So amazing and relaxing for everyone . Fun stuff for kids as well.
