Wilson Nurseries - Lexington KY

One of the best plant stores/ nurseries I've ever been to! They have a huge section for outdoor plants/ bushes but I always focus on their indoor plant section which is one of the largest I've seen. They have a wide variety of aroids (pothos, antherium, philodendron, etc.) as well as succulents and cacti. I do want to emphasize that they carry antheriums because besides the "normal" flamingo antheriums I rarely see antheriums at local plant stores. Every plant I've purchased their has done amazing as soon as I bring it home. I have over 100 house plants so I have lots of experience with acclimating plants into my home. Naturally some plants are going to need more of a recovery period but I can tell that the plants they sell are healthy and well cared for and that cuts down on the acclimation period.

My favorite nursery in Lexington. I love their native perennial selection. The veggie garden options are varied and solid. The folderals found in the store or cute, useful, and often whimsical.

What a lovely greenhouse! The plants are just gorgeous and you can see the love and care that goes into them. The staff were so helpful. We visited here for awhile and then headed to the mothership in Frankfort. The prices seem a bit steep but I need to remember this isn’t big box and there is actual botany and science going into this place. I could look for hours here! Must see.

I recently discovered this plant nursery after moving from Miami, and I'm thrilled with the diverse selection they offer. The variety of plants is impressive, and it has become my go-to place for adding greenery to my new space. Highly recommend!

SPIDER MITE INFESTATIONS AT THE NURSERY AND THEY ARE AWARE AND STILL SELL YOU THE PLANTS There is a spider mite issue at the farm because they have organic plants there that need to use organic products on. The other plants such as indoor plants have spider mite infestations. The green house workers are doing their best to prevent the issue however, I had spent over $60 on the indoor plants having an infestations on them. I have been treating them for a month now, and they have not gotten any better. IT HAS AFFECTED MY OTHER HEALTHY PLANTS AT HOME. They do not warn you that they have these issues in the beginning because they want more money. When I go to them about the problem they suggest buying more of their items to prevent this from spreading more. Instead of refunding. DO NOT BUY PLANTS HERE BECAUSE OF THE SPIDER MITE INFESTATIONS. The worker also suggested to THROW AWAY the plant. Which costed a lot of money and was a rare plant. This is absolutely ridiculous. I am a plant mom for RARE plants only. So they are clearly just money hungry. My plants are my babies.
