White Oak Farm - Renick WV

We have been frequenting this beautiful farm for 4 or 5 years —-we go as many times as we can in the window of opportunity so as to fill our freezer. The berries last us all winter and are just wonderful on yogurt. We also enjoy the fresh produce —squash and corn is what we have tried personally—delish! There are fresh beautiful flowers that are sometimes available as bouquets or as pick your own. My favorite part of picking the berries are all the wonderful sounds: cows mooing, sheep naaaying…sweet Rio cat has sometimes accompanied me down a row. It’s a delightful way to spend a couple of hours.

Every year for 10 years we come here to pick blueberries. The farm is clean with good parking. The berries bushes are well maintained and very easy to get to, super easy for young and old. This year three of us picked 22# in about an hour. 2022 Update, still the best place to pick in the area. 5 of us picked 52# in 90 minutes, I don't think we picked off of more than 8 bushes total.

I had such a good time picking blueberries with my 2 year old grandson. It was such a wonderful family experience. The blueberries were delicious. The owner was such a pleasant person. I would highly recommend.

This day was absolutely perfect! The weather was great, great company, and such a wonderful experience there. We talk about this moment in time and how it was perfect all the time. None of us wanted to leave lol. Very memorable. You have the option to go on any row that you want. There is a bathroom on site that's like a porta John but it's still pretty nice. You pay per pound. We got a little carried away because we were having such a good time and had a ton of blueberries. We highly recommend this place!

Love this place so much! The berries are so big and sweet year after year. I loved coming with my husband and now it's a tradition we share with our son!!
